Dallas Center – Grimes girls and boys golf participated in the Little Hawkeye Conference tournament. The girls were able to finish 2nd in the event and the boys were able to take 6th as both teams were able to get some great individual rounds.

The finish for the girls is the highest result that the team has been able to put up since they join the conference. The girls were able to get three in the top five, as they saw Emerson Kleis get 2nd, Kaylin Petrak get third, and Laura Klaesey get tied 5th overall for the Mustangs.

On the boys side, the Mustangs were able to find an 83 out of Zach Ross, as they put up a good result overall and were right in the middle of a very tightly packed conference race.

Both teams will be coming down the home stretch with future meets, as they hope for good numbers later in the week.
