A bank in Jefferson is celebrating its relocation to a new area of town with a free event.

Heartland Bank will be hosting a groundbreaking ceremony at 10am on Wednesday, May 12th at their new location along Highway 4 in the Greene County Development Corporation west business park. Heartland Bank opened its Jefferson branch at 200 East State Street in February 2020. The company currently leases its space with the City of Jefferson. 

The public is invited to the ceremony, where the bank’s president and CEO will be on hand to usher in the new location. The free event will also include refreshments following the ceremony.
