With another dry week of little precipitation, drought conditions have increased in the Raccoon Valley Radio-listening area. 

According to the latest U.S. Drought Monitor Report, nearly all of Dallas County is abnormally dry with the northeast corner being in a moderate drought. All of Greene, Guthrie and Adair counties are  abnormally dry. 

The rainfall totals for the past week in Jefferson were 1.14 inches of precipitation, 0.16 inches for Perry and no precipitation for Guthrie Center.
