A local event to help raise money and food for local area food pantries in Dallas County will have a live event today. 

 Raccoon Valley Radio’s Big Red Radio will be broadcasting live today from 10 a.m. to noon with representatives from Dallas County Farm Bureau at the Perry Fareway for the Cram the Cab fundraiser. Shirts will be available for $10 with proceeds going to food pantries in Dallas County. 

If you can’t make it during the live broadcast, there are still two days left for donations toward the fundraising event. Customers can either do a direct food drop off, make a monetary donation or round up your grocery total to the nearest dollar. 

The event is sponsored by Perry Fareway, Dallas County Farm Bureau and Perry Van Wall.
