After the most recent U.S. News and World Report, a high school in Dallas County ranks among the best in Iowa.
According to the report Adel-DeSoto-Minburn High School was listed as the 11th best high school in Iowa, ranking higher than 306 other high schools statewide and also coming in at 2,038 out of the nearly 18,000 high schools nationwide.
The ranking system looks at student performance on standardized tests, effectiveness in providing services for the student body, and college readiness with emphasis on participation in and performance on Advanced Placement exams.
