The Perry City Council approved the relocation of runway 14/32 for the airport at their regular meeting Monday.

The Council approved the runway project which will cost a little more than $1.6 million. Also, the Council approved the wastewater treatment facility improvements, approved the seeking of federal and state trail project funding and approved the application, pricing fee, and payment processing agreement with forte which will allow for more options when residents pay bills.

Also, the Council discussed and approved the Class C Beer Permit with Class B Wine Permit and Sunday Sale Privilege for Dollar General after originally denying the permit due to fire safety concerns.
