Greene County is 0-10 on the high school girls’ soccer season after losing both games in Greenfield on Saturday at the Nodaway Valley/West Central Valley Tournament. Coach Peyton Paddock’s team fell to 0-10, but the Rams went the distance in both contests, 4-0 to Valley and 2-1 to Creston.

The loss to the Panthers was the third time the Rams lost by a 2-1 score this season, and all three have happened between April 23 and May 1. Freshman Esther Van Horn scored her first varsity goal in the first half and that gave the Rams a 1-0 lead, the first time this season they’ve been ahead, and it was the third goal for the Rams this season. Creston’s two second half goals earned them the victory.
