The Greene County High School Interact Club celebrated May Day with special gifts to county residents.

Interact Co-President Conner Allender coordinated a May Day basket project where students decorated and filled styrofoam cups with Happy May Day messages, as well as flowers that were purchased by an anonymous donor. The cups were then given to 111 residents at Greene County Medical Center Long Term Care, Regency Park Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and the Gardens Assisted Living.

The project was in support of May Day, which is May 1st and signifies the halfway mark between spring and summer seasons.
