The Dallas Center – Grimes girls golf team was able to place third out of 15 teams on Thursday in the Linda Bloom Invitational, as they took on some great competition at the Elmwood Country Club in Marshalltown. They were able to put up an 18 hole team score of 390, a solid mark considering the weather conditions on the day.

The Mustangs were able to place three different golfers in the top fifteen, including Kaylin Petrak who was able to finish in the top five with a 4th place finish.

The Mustangs will have a very busy next week with three projected meets on the schedule, as the Mustangs will be looking for some good numbers.
