The West Central Valley Girls Track team competed in the Des Moines Christian Invitational on Monday. They were up against the host school Des Moines Christian and Colfax-Mingo.

The Wildcats had a few girls finish in the top of their heats. Freshman Chasey Rowan had a standout day. She finished first in the 3000M with a time of 11:41.55. She also finished third in the 1500M dash (5:33.99).

Tasha Williams continued to have another great performance. She finished first in the 100M (13.35) and 200M (27.93) dashes. Sprinting wasn’t the only thing she finished first in either. She finished first in the Long Jump.
