The Dallas Center – Grimes Mustangs will be competing at the 4A level in district 6 competition for the 2021-22 seasons, and the Mustangs found out about their schedule on Monday.

DCG will have a good non conference schedule, as they will start the season on the road at North Polk, before home games against Bondurant-Farrar and Johnston, before finishing that portion of the schedule on the road against Norwalk.

The Mustangs will have their first two district games at home, opening up against Winterset and Council Bluffs, Thomas Jefferson. They will then play two straight on the road against Des Moines, Hoover and Lewis Central, before concluding the season at home against Glenwood.

The Mustangs are coming off of a good 2020 season that saw them state ranked all season long, before getting upset in the playoffs.

The 2022 schedule will be the same opponents with the sites flipped, so DCG will only have four home games on the season for the regular season.
