
On a warm and windy Monday afternoon, both the ADM boys and girls golf teams competed on the course, with the girls getting second out of three teams and the boys falling to Carroll.
The girls were able to take second at home, as they put up a team score of 215, 15 strokes behind Carroll but ahead of Bondurant-Farrar. The Tigers were able to get a pair of players below a 50, as both Liv Rickert and Emma Mellencamp both were able to get the same score of 49.
On the boys side, the Tigers made the trip to Carroll, and despite a decent team score, couldn’t pull out the victory falling by six strokes, 151-157. Grant Garton was a reserve medalist and able to tally a score of two over 37, and junior Sam Hlas was able to put up a score of 39 as both continue to post solid rounds during the season.
ADM will be have more meets this week, with the girls returning to the course today and the boys to compete on Thursday.
