
Greene County ISU Extension offers several online opportunities that take place on Thursday, April 29th.
The next installment of Preserve the Taste of Summer is about jam making and it will be led by Extension Nutrition and Wellness Specialist Ann Parker from 6:30-7:30pm.
The next online course is “The Science of Parenting – Positive Discipline.” The program will be led by Extension Human Science Specialist MacKenzie DeJong and it will be from 6:30-7:30pm. Greene County Extension Director Lori Mannel describes what the program will cover.
“This program will give you guidance and discipline tips on children from 0-18 years. You will learn the difference between discipline and punishment, as well as how to increase strong parent-child relationships. There will be three basic strategies that you’ll learn about positive discipline.”
The final online program is “Writing Your Retirement Paycheck” which will take place from 6:30-8:30pm. The program will be led by Extension Family Finance Specialist Kalyn Cody.
