The West Central Valley School Board approved the kindergarten through fifth grade literacy curriculum at their regular meeting Wednesday.

Also, the Board conducted policy reviews, discussed personnel and open enrollment, approved the 2021 graduate list, approved the yearly resurfacing of gym floors, approved E-Rate purchases and discussed financial reports including nutrition, activity and transportation. Also, the Board approved the girls soccer sharing agreement with Nodaway Valley and did not approve the boys soccer sharing agreement with Nodaway Valley.

Finally, the Board discussed administrative structure and will hold a special meeting at 6 p.m. April 28th to further discuss the issue. Upcoming important dates include 6:45 p.m. May 19th for the fiscal year 2021 budget hearing regarding an amendment and 7 p.m. May 19th for the regular board meeting.
