Wednesday, April 21st

12:32am: Linda Wolterman reported a female sitting in a vehicle in the parking lot at 102 South Grimmell Road. The officer made contact with the female and learned she is a resident of the building.

12:13pm: Caitlynn Rickheim requested and officer at 901 West State Street. She had locked herself out of the residence and her 8-month-old child was inside alone. The officer was able to gain entry without damaging any property.

1:07pm: Tina Thompson reported a Stray Dog near 103 South Walnut Street. The officer was unable to get near the animal, as it would run away.

1:22pm: Macy Otto spoke to an officer about Unwanted Contact on Social Media. The officer advised Otto to advise the other party to end all contact and block them from her Social Media Accounts.

1:40pm: Leslie Chothen spoke to an officer about a Civil Child Custody Issue occurring with her children at 1216 Westwood Drive #7. She presented the officer with a court order stating she has fell custody of two young children, who were in the care of their father at the address. The officer went to the address with Chothen to retrieve the children. The officer met heavy resistance from two males at the apartment and requested assistance from the GCSO. Deputies arrived and assisted in removing the children from their father, per court order.

6:20pm: The resident of 103 South Walnut Street captured a Stray Dog from an earlier entry. The officer placed the dog in the Animal Holding Facility.

11:08pm: An officer located an Open Door a 1000 North Cedar Street. The officer secured the facility after conducting a walk through and finding all to be normal.

11:50pm: A Traffic Stop at State and Elm Streets resulted in Blake Murphy of Churdan being cited for, “Fail to Provide Proof of Financial Liability.”
