The Iowa Department of Natural Resources and Iowa State University Extension and Outreach will be offering online education on the Growing Up WILD activity guide.

The online training will provide hands-on activities and resources to help get children ages 3-7 outdoors and exploring nature. Some of the activities focus on math, science, language, literacy, play and creativity. 

Those who would like to participate are required to take online pre-workshop activities and attend the online training on May 19th from 6-9 p.m. The cost is $45 and includes an activity guide. 

Participants will receive four clock hours credit for childcare license renewal. Registration and payment is due by May 5th on the Iowa Child Care Provider Training Registry here and searching for reconnecting children with nature.
