Former ADM Tiger star softball player Abbie Hlas etched her name into one of the great Tiger athletes during her time in high school, and has gotten off to an impressive freshmen campaign up at NCAA Division II Winona State in Minnesota.

Hlas has the highest batting average on the team for the Warriors, hitting at a .425 clip with seven doubles, two triples, and five home runs as well. She has also been able to tally 21 RBIs on the season, and her 57 total bases being second on the team. She also has not struck out much only eight times this year, and has five walks as well. Hlas has also had a positive influence defensively as well, as the Warriors have played her multiple positions throughout the field, and has even thrown a few innings on the mound as well.

Hlas will be looking to continue a great start to her college career, as Winona State will be looking for more wins in the near future.
