The 2021 Iowa Broadcast News Association (IBNA) convention was held Saturday with Raccoon Valley Radio bringing home multiple awards.

The event took place at the Stoney Creek Inn in Johnston this year with sessions throughout the day culminating with the awards banquet. Greene County News Director Coltrane Carlson brought home multiple awards including second place for farm and agribusiness, second place for general reporting and second place for spot coverage all for small market radio.

Also, KKRF brought home first place for public affairs for small market radio. The IBNA convention takes place once a year to recognize work done throughout the last year.
