Dallas Center – Grimes had a very busy weekend of soccer as the number two team at 2A, and they continued it Saturday going 1-2 at the Waterloo West Tournament.

The Mustangs were able to get a victory 2-0 against Waterloo West, before falling 2-0 to a undefeated Pleasant Valley and 3-0 to an extremely talented Cedar Falls team. The experience that the Mustangs were able to get out of this tournament will be key to big moments of the season, as they saw some great teams throughout the weekend. DCG was able to get a huge victory on Friday night over ADM 3-1, in a matchup of top five teams in 2A.

DCG will have another game tomorrow when they take on conference foe Indianola.
