Adel-Desoto-Minburn Girls soccer participated in a tournament at home over the weekend, and they were able to go 1-1 in their two games, as they were able to get a 7-0 victory over Des Moines Hoover before falling 3-2 over Pella against the Dutch.
The Tigers were able to get a monster first game out of senior Ashlyn Watt, who was able to tally a monster five goals in the contest, as the Tigers were able to cruise coast to coast to pick up the victory. The Tigers were able to really keep the pedal to the medal offensively, as they tallied 13 shots on goal while the Huskies struggled to get established offensively, thanks to the Tigers great defense.
ADM dug itself into a hole in their second game, as they trailed the Dutch 2-0 at halftime, as they had a solid comeback effort but unfortunately was thwarted at the end. Watt was able to tally two more goals to add to a great day offensively.
ADM will be back on the field tomorrow, when they take on Nevada at home.
