An Arizona man was recently sentenced to ten years in prison for a sexual abuse incident in Dallas County. 

According to court documents, 36-year-old Brett Leroy Smith of Mohave County, Arizona was sentenced to ten years in prison after pleading guilty to a Class C Felony for third degree sexual abuse.  

Court documents show Smith was sentenced to ten years in prison for a sexual abuse incident investigation from August of 2020. As per his plea agreement, Smith will also register as a sex offender in the state of Iowa and serve a special sentence upon release from prison. The Class D Felony charge for incest was also dismissed.
