The Dallas County Board of Supervisors approved the local budgets certification at their regular meeting Tuesday. 

Also, the Board heard a request to place an internet antenna on the courthouse bell tower as a way to expand internet coverage to downtown businesses and residents and will look to hear more at subsequent meetings. The Board also approved the township budget certification and set a time and date for a public hearing for total maximum property tax dollars certified for levy for general and rural county services at 9:30 a.m. April 27th. 

Finally, the Board held a public hearing for the EMS I Am Responding contract renewal and approved  to renew the contract, along with approving a property tax suspension, held a discussion for a request for guidance for the Dallas County Care Facility items, and held a county comprehensive plan workshop.
