Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers boys soccer hosted an invitational over the weekend for soccer, and were able to go 1-1 during the Saturday portion of the tournament, as they were able to defeat the Glenwood Rams 1-0 before falling to Des Moines East 1-0.

In their game against Glenwood, shots came at a premium of the Tigers, as they were able to only fire off two during the game, but were able to connect on one of them from senior Josh Pike, with the goal assisted by senior Nathan Pfiffner, with the Tigers converting the score in the first half to secure the victory.

In the second game against Des Moines East, the Tigers were outshot by the visitors 16-5 as they picked up their first loss of the season.

ADM is now 3-1 on the season, and will have another game tonight when they take on the Gilbert Tigers in Raccoon River Conference play. The event will be happening at 7 o’clock in Adel.
