This past week was filled with action for West Central Valley. Here’s a look at what happened.

On Monday the Boys and Girls Golf teams participated in a Conference Quad against AC/GC, Madrid, and Pleasantville. West Central Valley finished fourth. Junior Haleigh Rummel led the team again with a low 63 average. For the Boys, the Wildcats finished fourth with a score of 276. Senior Grant Caltrider also led his team once again with an average of low 38.

Also on Monday, the Girls Track finished 11th in the Nodaway Valley Girl’s Invitational. Despite the finish, the Wildcats had a great performance from Sophomore Tasha Williams. She finished first in the 100M dash with a time of 13.97. She also finished second in the 200M dash with a time of 28.68.

Tuesday, the Boys Track team competed against 12 other schools in a meet at East Union. The Wildcats finished 9th in the meet. Senior Cael Hansen had a few Top 5 finishes. He finished 5th in the 200M dash (25.90) and the 3200M run (12:43.40).

Boys Soccer improved to 2-0 on the season with another dominant performance. The Wildcats beat AHSTW 9-0. This is the second consecutive shutout win for West Central Valley.

West Central Valley Boys Soccer finished out the week with another game Thursday. They suffered their first loss of the season to Creston. The Wildcats lost a hard fought game 3-2.
