Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers boys track and field team was able to compete on Tuesday in the Hugh Norman relays in Adel, with the Tigers generating a great finish of 1st place out of eight teams. The Tigers were able to generate a team total of 153.5 points total, finishing 29.5 points ahead of Norwalk in the meet.
In the 800 meter run, Ethan Juergens was able to pick up a first place finish with a time of 2 minutes 2 seconds, and in the 1600 meter run, Nate Mueller was able to pick up a first place finish with a time of 4 minutes and 51 seconds.
The Tiger relay teams were also able to find some success, with the 4×200 team finishing first with a time of 1 minute and 32 seconds, the 4×400 team first with a time of 3 minutes and 34 seconds, and the 4×800 team finishing with a time of 8 minutes 11 seconds, which also placed first, helping the Tigers put up 10 points in each of those events.
Brevin Doll was the leading point scorer for the Tiger, putting up 18 points through various events, with multiple top 3 finishes to his name. Juergens was able to add 15 points and Tate Stine-Smith had 14 points on his own.
ADM Boys will have a quick turnaround, as they compete at Van Meter on Thursday.
