Alexis L. McDonald, age 21, 450 Laurel St, Waukee, was arrested on a warrant for Failure To Appear.  The original charge was Driving While License Denied, Suspended, Cancelled Or Revoked.

April 1

Candice M. Ortiz, age 33, was arrested on a warrant for Failure To Appear.  The original charge was Driving While Barred and Driving While License Denied Or Revoked.

Breanna R. Torre, age 33, was arrested on a warrant for Failure To Appear.  The original charge was two counts of Possession Of Controlled Substance.

April 2

Buay K. Chuol, age 22, was arrested on a warrant.  The original charge was Robbery 1^st Degree.

Robert L. Kraft III, age 33, 1214 Willis Ave, Perry, was arrested on a warrant for Failure To Appear.  The original charges were 2 charges of Theft – 3^rd Degree and Burglary 3^rd Degree.

Jennifer E. Fisher, age 23, 1440 SE Bishop Dr, Waukee, was arrested on a warrant for Interference With Official Acts, 2 counts of Harassment – 1^st Degree and 2 counts of Assault On Persons In Certain Occupations.

Ian Kinney-Gibbs, West Des Moines, was traveling westbound in the 15000 block of Hwy 141, when he went onto the shoulder, overcorrected as he returned to the roadway and swerved into the ditch, rolling the vehicle.  Shelly Schroeder, Jefferson, had to swerve to avoid Mr. Kinney-Gibbs, but ended up hitting that vehicle and also landed in the ditch.  There were no injuries reported and damage to Mr. Kinney-Gibbs vehicle was estimated at $8000 and needed to be towed from the scene.  Ms. Schroeder’s vehicle had an estimated $4000 damage.  Mr. Kinney-Gibbs was cited for Failure To Maintain Control.

Assumani Mateso, Des Moines, was westbound on Hwy 141 at the Woodward exit when he swerved to avoid a deer in the roadway.  He lost control and hit the guardrails under the overpass of Seminole Avenue.  There were no injuries reported and damage was estimated at $13000 the Mr. Mateso’s vehicle.  Damage to the guardrails was estimated at $2000.  The vehicle had to be towed from the scene.

Jeremy Underwood, Dexter, was driving northbound on N Ave, when he slowed to make a left turn.  Zachary Yates, Colfax, ran into the back of Mr. Underwood’s vehicle.    Both drivers were checked at the scene by Dallas County EMS.  Mr. Underwood was taken by private vehicle to be checked out at the hospital.  Damage was estimated on Mr. Underwood’s vehicle at $10,000.  Mr. Yates vehicle also received an estimated $10,000 damage.  Both vehicles were towed from the scene.  Mr. Yates was cited for Failure To Stop In Assured Clear Distance.

April 3

Michael Powell, age 40, 201 E 2^nd St, Woodward, was arrested on a warrant for Violated Probation Terms.

Bret Brownsberger, age 19, 1417 Grove St, Adel, was arrested for Operating While Under The Influence 1^st Offense.  He was also cited for Possession Alcohol By Person 18/19/20 and Use Electronic Communication Device.

Erick Covarrubias, age36, 3124 Kingman Blvd, Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for Failure To Appear.  The original charge was OWI 1^st Offense.

Carla D. Vanzuuk, age 58, 8419 Park Dr, Dexter, was arrested for Trespass.
