Perry Lutheran Homes has plans to spread joy to elderly Perry and Dallas County residents in May. 

Project Deliver The LOVE aims to celebrate, serve, engage and connect with elderly citizens in Dallas County. 200 volunteers will participate in spreading the love to roughly 350 citizens on May 12th. 200 volunteers are needed to sign up for one hour shifts to either build the baskets or deliver them or both. 

Those in the community are encouraged to think of people they know who are 75 or older and live in Perry, or within a ten mile radius of Perry, who would enjoy receiving a personal delivery and a basket filled with food. 

Donations are needed for the baskets themselves as well as the food items for the baskets. Social distancing practices will be followed during the event.
