The Greene County Lamb Producers are seeking donations.

The non-profit organization has decided to not hold their annual banquet fundraiser, due to the pandemic. Instead, the lamb producers are asking for donations in support of their lamb barn project, which was established in 2012.

According to the organization, over 50 kids have participated in the program, which allows youth that can’t afford to raise an animal a chance to do so and learn about responsibility, animal husbandry, finance, teamwork and citizenship. Donations can be mailed to Bill Taggart at 1731 G Avenue in Scranton. All donations are tax deductible.
