Greene County sends its boys’ track & field squad to Winterset today. It’s the second meet this week for the Rams, and the second outdoor meet of the season, but the first where team score will be kept.

Coach Chad Morton told Raccoon Valley Radio the lineup isn’t completely set. “We have a few guys we need to see injury-wise where they’re at. It’s going to be fun competing against more boys. I like girl-boy meets, but when you can compete against just boys it kind of gives you double up as far as where you sit with other teams and how you compete. Being able to go to a meet like this you get to see different competition you normally don’t see throughout the year.”

In addition to host Winterset and the Rams, scheduled teams include ADM, North Polk, Underwood, Woodward-Granger, Nevada, Nodaway Valley, Centerville, Earlham, Martensdale-St. Mary’s, Clarke, and Creston.
