Guthrie County ISU Extension is planning for Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM) Fest to take place in Panora in May.
The goal for the festival is to promote awareness and understanding of the importance of STEM-related educational and career opportunities and will take place from 10 a.m. to noon May 1st in the Panora Square.
Businesses are being asked to have a display to interact with adults and youth to teach them about their business, provide a STEM hands-on activity, among other things. For those businesses that have a storefront on mainstreet it’s encouraged to have that booth inside your store.
Participants and presenters are asked to wear masks when social distancing is not possible and hand sanitizer will be available throughout the event. For more information or questions you can call Guthrie County Extension at 641-747-2276.
