3/29 10:45 am Jason Trotter 47 of Perry was booked into the jail for a Jasper County arrest warrant for possession of a controlled substance 3rd or subsequent and possession of drug paraphernalia.

1:40 pm Daniel Newton of Grand Junction was booked into the jail for a violation of probation.

2:55 pm Ryan Murphy 40 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for ongoing criminal conduct and a controlled substance violation.

5:00 pm a deputy investigated a complaint of a power pole leaning near 290th Street and V Avenue.

7:13 pm a deputy assisted with locating a juvenile that left Carroll on a UTV. The UTV and Juvenile were located at Herron Street and South 13th Street, Grand Junction.

7:22 pm a deputy arrested James Moreland Jr. 46 of Perry for ongoing criminal conduct and a controlled substance violation.

8:17 pm a deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle on 220th Street near T Avenue.

8:58 pm James Moreland Jr. was booked into the jail for ongoing criminal conduct and a controlled substance violation.

11:05 pm Justin Lopez 23 of Jefferson for flight to avoid prosecution, a violation of probation, and Failure to appear.

3/30 4:57 am a deputy investigated an alarm at the Iowa DOT shop on North Maple Street, Jefferson.

8:30 am the Greene County Sheriff’s Office conducted a search warrant at 1819 6th Street, Perry. The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office, Perry Police Department, and the Iowa State Fire Marshalls Office assisted. Stolen property, drug paraphernalia, controlled substances, and a suspected improvised explosive device were seized. Charges are pending lab results.

2:56 pm a deputy investigated an animal neglect complaint in the 1800 block of 265th Street.

6:20 pm Jason Sheldahl 49 of Scranton was booked into the jail for violation of a no contact order.

8:35 pm Tanisha Rice 45 of Jamaica was booked into the jail a mittimus and a violation of a protective order.

3/31 4:23 pm Jordan Holley 19 of Scranton was booked into the jail for possession of a controlled substance 1st offense, unlawful possession of prescription medications, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
