The Greene County Medical Center recently held its employee awards ceremony.

The highlight of the event was the 2020 Employee Exemplifying Excellence award, which went to Susan Frahm. She has been working at the medical center for 40 years in the Nutrition Services Department, serving as the head cook. Nominees for the award came from medical center employees and there were 12 additional individuals that were nominated.

Additionally, the event recognizes employees for their service milestones. Those included 16 employees working with the medical center for five years, six for ten years, three were for 15 years, one person for 15 and 20 years, two people for 30 years and Carol Christensen was honored for her 35 years of service to the medical center. There were a total of 29 employees recognized for their service milestones.
