Dallas Center – Grimes boys track and field will be on the course for the first time this week, when they take a road trip to Little Hawkeye Conference foe Indianola to take on multiple schools. The other schools that will be participating include Norwalk, Ottumwa, and Waukee.

For DCG, this is an opportunity to put a good imprint on a young season, after seeing some encouraging results in their meet at Waukee last week. This will also be a good tune up before their monster meet this upcoming Saturday at home against multiple schools. Relay teams have been able to put up some good numbers on the early season for the Mustangs, including the 4×100 team who put up a second place finish in Waukee with a time of 44.31 seconds.

The event will begin at 4:30 as the Mustangs look to put up some good numbers against talented competition.
