With the conclusion of the state individual speech competition, one Perry student received an All State nomination. 

While this year’s speech competitions looked different than years prior due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, contestants still received good marks. For Perry, Ainsley Marburger took home an All State nomination for improvisational acting. 

According to the Iowa High School Speech Association there will not be an All State festival this year.
