DCG boys soccer will officially get going this week when they take on Ballard on Friday to open their 2021 season. It should be an exciting year for the Mustangs, as they have a fourteen game regular season schedule that should be a mix of challenging and fun.

The Mustangs will have only four home games on the season, and will have some tough road stretches throughout the year. The Little Hawkeye Conference is expected to provide great competition, and they will have some tough non-conference games which includes Dowling Catholic, Winterset, ADM, and more. Going 14-3 in 2018 and 13-6 in 2019 will have expectations high for this Mustang team, but they believe they should be able to compile a good amount of wins even with the difficult schedule.

The game against Ballard will be home on Friday, with the start time projected to begin around 7 o’clock.
