The Guthrie Center City Council met briefly Monday night in regular session.
The Council approved the second reading and waived the third reading to amend an ordinance to make 4th and Park streets a four-way stop. By waiving the third required reading, the amended ordinance was approved for final adoption.
The Council then held a discussion about an on-going dog barking issue in a neighborhood. All parties were present and agreed to have better communication about the issue in the future. Finally, the Council agreed with an accessory building permit in the 400 block of North 6th Street and a fence permit in the 100 block of North 12th Street as presented.
