
The Dallas County Board of Supervisors approved a proclamation recognizing April as Child Abuse Prevention Month at their regular meeting Tuesday.
Also, the Board approved a pay application for the Dallas County Law Enforcement Center, the EMS I am Responding contract renewal, along with renewing the five year contract with Cott Systems Software, following a public hearing on the topic, a motor grader purchase in the amount of $333,983 and a compactor attachment.
The Board then held discussions on the temporary county redistricting commission and set the group size to three with the per diem at $12 per hour. Additionally, they discussed the courthouse conference room and the Carriage House request for proposals.
The meeting ended in a closed session to discuss pending litigation and an exempt session to conduct a negotiations strategy meeting.
