A Private Family Graveside Service for Derek Rossow, 42, of Ankeny, Iowa formerly of Jefferson will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at Ferguson Cemetery in Lake View, Iowa.  Derek died at his home on March 20, 2021 due to a cardiac event.  Memorials are suggested to the Ankeny First United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his mother:  Mary (Dale) Leichsenring of Ankeny, IA; his brother, Aaron Rossow of Kansas City, MO; his nephew, Dane Rossow of Lee Summit, MO; Uncle, Jerry Jorgensen of Rahway, NM; aunts:  Ellie Jorgensen (Jon Frega) of Prairie Village, KS, Annie (Arlyn) Nordaas of Madrid, IA, and Lexa Braxmeier of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; cousins:  Adam Becker of Lee Summit, MO, and Brad Beck of Lee Summit, MO; other relatives; and many friends.
