adm-7

ADM Tigers football found out about their class and district fate last week, as they will be staying in class 3A and were officially put into district 6.

The other teams in the district include Atlantic, Creston, Harlan, Knoxville, and Saydel. Moving up from 2A is Atlantic and Saydel, as both met the qualifications of school enrollment to move up a class. Creston, Harlan, Knoxville and ADM all stayed in 3A, after there was a lot of realignment amongst classes after the IHSAA’s decision to add a fifth class.

ADM went 3-5 in their shortened 2020 schedule, though that record could improve with their 2021 slate. Their district opponents records last year include Saydel at 4-5, and Atlantic at 7-2 at the 2A level. At the 3A level Creston went 1-8, Knoxville 1-8, and Harlan at 11-1. Harlan’s season included a trip to the state championship game, where they lost to North Scott by the score of 30-6.

Harlan is expected to be a favorite in this district, but this is expected to be wide open for potential chances in the state playoffs, as ADM looks to seize the opportunity come this fall.
