As the coronavirus pandemic has made life different for over a year now, businesses and organizations are continuing to be creative.
Panora Chamber Coordinator Stephanie Hummel says for 2021 the Chamber is focused on putting the community first and making sure everyone is safe. Hummel says it may also take more outside-the-box thinking to support local businesses.
“We want to make sure that we have systems in place so that people feel comfortable to shop, or eat out at the restaurants and gather to what their safety level is or within their own personal safety level. Whatever we can do as a Panora Chamber to support our local businesses as well as to support our community, that is the priority for 2021.”
Hummel tells Raccoon Valley Radio it will also be the focus moving forward in a post-COVID world as well. Hummel says there are multiple things going on from the Panora Chamber so far this year including “be local events” and scavenger hunts.
