With the recent purchase of 40 acres of land by the City of Adel, they are now asking for public comment on the proposed use of it. 

The City Council recently approved the purchase west of the Adel Family Aquatic Center and south of the new Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Elementary School as the future site of a sports complex and park. The project is in the preliminary planning phase with a consulting company to create a concept master plan. 

The City of Adel is asking for feedback from community members to help further shape the plans for the proposed sports complex. There is a brief anonymous survey that can be completed.
