A Scranton man was recently sentenced to probation for an October domestic incident.

According to court documents, 52-year-old Randall Venteicher pled guilty to a lesser charge of an aggravated misdemeanor for his second offense for domestic abuse assault. He had all but two days of a two year prison sentence suspended, given credit for time already served and was placed on probation for two years.

The charge stemmed from an October 22nd incident. The Greene County Sheriff’s Office responded to the incident at 7:34pm in the 100 block of 190th Street in Scranton. The female victim suffered injuries after a verbal argument escalated to being physical.

The sentence was to run concurrently with a probation revocation of a previous conviction, where Venteicher was ordered to serve ten days in the Greene County Jail and be discharged from serving probation. He was also ordered to pay over $2,000 in fines, surcharges, court costs and attorney fees.
