The Guthrie County Hospital is hosting CPR and First Aid training classes for the general public and first responders. The first class being held is Heartsaver CPR AED. This class is designed for people with little to no medical experience. Participants will receive CPR certification for a job or volunteering, and they will learn how to recognize cardiac arrest and be able to help until EMS arrives. The Heartsaver CPR AED class is Wednesday, March 24 from 4:30-8:30 pm.
The second class is Basic Life Support. This class is for EMS and first responders. Basic Life Support will be Thursday, March 25 from 8 am to noon.
