The Dallas County Board of Supervisors approved a sign replacement funding agreement at their regular meeting Tuesday.
The sign replacements will include regulatory, warning or school signs that are worn out or out of date, with a cost not to exceed $10,000, which is then reimbursed to the county by the state. Also, the Board approved dust control vendor permits.
Finally, the Board approved setting a time and date for a public hearing for the first reading of amending Chapter 6A to Dallas County code of ordinances local options sales and services tax at 10:30 a.m. March 30th. Other items they discussed included the temporary county redistricting commission, Carriage House request for proposals, Cott Systems Software contract renewal and approved a member of the Veterans Affairs Commission.
