U.S. Congress passed a $1.9 trillion America Rescue Plan, which President Joe Biden signed into law recently.
Part of the bill stipulates how much funding each city will receive across the country, including Iowa. In Greene County, the total for the incorporated cities is $700,000, with the most allocated to the City of Jefferson with $570,000. The primary listening coverage in western Dallas County includes Adel, Bouton, Dawson, Dallas Center, Dexter, Linden, Minburn, Perry and Redfield. The combined total was $2,146,000, with the largest going to the City of Perry of $1,006,000. Adel will receive $760,0000. As for Guthrie County, the incorporated cities total was $711,000, with the most allocation to the City of Stuart of $240,000. Guthrie Center will receive $210,000 and Panora will get $150,000.
