To be an athlete at any high school, you need to be someone who will devote themselves to their sport and team in order to find success. The same is true at ADM schools, as coaches are always looking for student athletes to step up in their respective sports and show good leadership.
Being a good student athlete means showing up on time to practice, showing great energy, and showing up to off season workouts in order to get better at your perspective sports. More important, you have to communicate well with teammates and learn to work with them on and off the court.
Another thing that coaches are always stressing is that it is ok to make mistakes, take chances, and show a willingness to make mistakes and learn from them. As hall of fame football coach Vince Lombardi once said “It’s not whether you get knocked down, it’s whether you get back up.” The motto is similar at ADM schools.
