ADM Tigers Activities Director Rod Wiebers is still less than a year into his new job, and has had to navigate some choppy waters with the Covid-19 pandemic. Despite the unique challenges, Wiebers talked about how the Adel-Desoto-Minburn district has been able to embrace the uncertainty of the future.
” One of the things that I’ve always talked about this year is the challenges that Covid-19 has placed on us. As far as activities I’ve been able to embrace those challenges because it meant that we were able to do the activities that our students love and are coaches prepare relentlessly for.”
Wiebers also mentioned how appreciative that he has been towards the ADM community throughout this whole process. Wiebers commented,
” You know it’s been great, this community of ADM is fantastic, we support our students in ways that a lot of other school districts don’t. There’s a lot of excitement, there’s things moving in positive directions that I’m really excited about, I couldn’t be more thrilled to be apart of the family at ADM.”
Wiebers was hired during the spring of 2020 and guide ADM through a year where everything has been unpredictable. The full length conversation will be played Monday night during the Dallas County PM sports page on 997 and 1310 KDLS.
