Wednesday, March 10th

1:16am: A caller requested a Welfare Check on a family member at 513 North Olive Street. The officer made contact with the subject, who advised she was fine.

2:23pm: Sheryl Mahler spoke to an officer about a neighbor’s property at 703 West Sunset Road. She advised the dumpster is always full and debris blows from the dumpster all over the neighborhood. The officers spoke to the neighbor about the issues, along with the condition of the property. The officer will forward the issue to the City Code Enforcement Officer.

3:15pm: A Traffic Stop at Clark and Grimmell resulted in Isabella Schroeder of Jefferson being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”

10:00pm: A caller reported that a known male subject was sending messages to her. They advised they believed the subject was coming to Jefferson to harm them. The officer contacted the male subject, who denied the accusations and advised he was not coming to Jefferson for any reason. The officer advised the subject to end contact with the caller.

********* An officer is sending charges to Juvenile Court for (2) 13-year-old Jefferson females. The charges stem from an investigation at Dollar General, which began on 02/25/2021. The business reported the juveniles had sprayed baby powder all over the aisle at the business. Both have been charged with, “Criminal Mischief 5th Degree – Simple.”
