The Thomas Jefferson Gardens Board is inviting everyone to their next “Meet Your Legislator” forum.

The event that will feature District 24 Senator Jesse Green and District 47 Representative Phil Thompson, will be held virtually Saturday at 10am at the Welcome Center. Due to the pandemic, there will not be anyone allowed in person to attend. Those interested in participating may go to the Thomas Jefferson Gardens Facebook page and click the live forum. A recording will also be provided on their Facebook page following the live discussion. Individuals who want to ask questions may do so in the comments section of their Facebook page.

The forum follows the first funnel week for both the Iowa House and Senate. Any legislation that passed a committee in either chamber is still viable for the rest of the legislative session. Green and Thompson will provide updates on any current bills and will then take questions from the audience. 

The Meet Your Legislator event is free and open to the public.
