
Monday, March 8th
8:08am: A caller advised of an Abandoned Bicycle at 100 East Adams Street. The officer placed the bike in the Impound Lot.
8:30am: An officer was advised by the Greene County High School of students caught with Vaping Products at 1901 North Grimmell Road. The officer issued Afton Funcke of Jamaica, Cameron Miller of Jefferson, and Lucy Dudley of Jefferson each a Citation for, “Minor Using Vaping Product.”
4:01pm: Merissa Olson reported older children not allowing youngsters to play on outside playground equipment at 204 West Harrison Street. The Rec Center Staff took care of the issue.
Tuesday, March 9th
2:08am: An officer responded to an Alarm Activation at 101 North Chestnut Street. He found the business to be secure.
12:17pm: Krystal Dzuris reported a young girl, who appeared to be alone and unsupervised in the parking lot in the 200 Block of North Elm Street. The officer located the child and figured out she lived in the area. The officer returned the child to a parent, who advised she had snuck out of the house.
5:13pm: Ryan Sebourn spoke to an officer concerning a Civil Issue occurring with a vehicle.
6:28pm: Ted Semke reported a vehicle, which was stuck in the mud near the brush pile dump site at Daubendiek Park. The officer located the vehicle and spoke to the young driver. He advised he drove down and was fishing in the river. His truck sank in the mud as he attempted to leave the area. The officer checked the area and found no purposeful damage in the area and sent the male on his way.
7:22pm: Ace Hardware requested an officer at 403 West Head Street. They advised they had located a male who had his vehicle hooked to a U-Haul Rental trailer, but had not rented it from Ace. The officer identified the subject, who had some paperwork saying he was to take the trailer to the Carroll U-Haul facility.
6:23pm: Kara Allen requested an officer at 103 West Monroe Street. The officer arrived and located subjects in the apartment. It was determined to be a Civil Issue and the officer advised the subjects to leave and seek a Civil Court Order to get their property.
10:29pm: An officer was called to 407 North Wilson Ave. for a Civil Child Custody Issue. Both parties involved were advised to contact an attorney and get a Custody Agreement in place concerning their children.
11:05pm: An officer assisted the GC Ambulance with a Medical Call in the 300 Block of North Chestnut Street.
